I love september and all that it brings. It's my birthday month, it's Mr. Gough's birthday month too. It's the begining of fall when the leaves change and the air is crisp and the apples are sweet. It's anticipating the holidays and drinking hot pumpkin spice lattes and pulling out the tights and boots and sweaters. This september holds a lot of intense changes for our family but I am determined to soak in the season as much as I can.

These are my picks for the perfect outfit to wear on a late summer early fall adventure. My personal favorite are the frye boots I don't think this side of heaven I will ever be able to afford a pair of those but darn they look pretty don't they. it has to be the little pitter patter of tiny feet running down the hall in the morning. I am so NOT a morning person and Chris is always up first with our early birds but I still always love to see the blonde top of Simon's head peeking over the edge of the bed smiling the biggest good morning grin. That boy is in such a great mood when he wakes up oh how I wish that was the case for me too. Often times he says to me "good morning Mom - do you need coffee this morning?" to which I laugh and reply yes. Then he makes a b-line for the kitchen where Chris is getting cereal or eggs started and I hear him say "hey Dad Mom NEEDS coffee" it always cracks me up, and I always give him an extra kiss when Daddy brings me that coffee in bed!

 Mr. Gough is not a big fan of coconut but I myself love it, so these I had to try!

 They even have have palm trees and beach umbrellas on them...I say they are like a chocolaty tropical vacation in my mouth.

Now if only they would add bright pink to the mix - then they would be Miami M&M's - ha! If you like coconut watch out these are addicting, yum!
