I woke up this morning with a kiiiiiiler sore throat. I think I caught Levi's over the weekend. I opened my eyes and just started pointing to my neck so Chris went and got me some medicine and then called in to work so that I could rest.
Ironically our honey bear ran out of honey yesterday (I like hot lemon and honey when I have a sore throat, you too?). I saw him sitting empty on the counter and couldn't bring myself to throw him out. I decided to give him a few coats of white spray paint and set him with some water and flowers - he really brings a smile in my opinion. He's kind of the perfect sick day bouquet too...
I cut out a little chalkboard contact paper to stick on his tummy but I can't decide if I like him better with or without...what do you think?
Either way I am pretty happy with my silly bear - I am off to find me some more honey for tea. Hope you have a wonderful Monday! xoxo
Both ways are very sweet and cheery!

ReplyDeleteTwine or matching yarn would hide the threads. Cute idea.
ReplyDeleteWith! what's funny is that when i saw the spraypainted version i thought, "that flat tummy is just begging for chalkboard paint and a get well soon message!" I just heard you had strep...i am so sorry! I've only had it twice and seriously think it's one of the worst things...right alongside mono ;)
