We returned home last night from a super fun extended family vacation. I am in the process of doing lots of laundry, uploading hundreds of photos and getting resettled as we prepare for school to start next week...it is so bittersweet to say goodbye to summer but I am so excited for the fall too.

I will be back soon with some photos from our trip but I just wanted to pop in and say hello, hope you are having a great week so far!

  6. Ahhh, Deception Pass right? Stunning photo. I love it there. We plan to drive up there this weekend...we live pretty close. We might be just a little crazy what with the holiday weekend. But its worth it for one last hurrah before school starts next week!

  7. i cannot wait to see your photos from our time together with family!! your eye--along with that fabulous camera/lens--captured some amazing and beautiful shots! (for the record, that lens totally spoiled me...how am i to be content with what i've been shooting with when i know that THAT LENS is out there??!) :)

i am looking forward to fall, too--embracing the changing of the seasons right now... i think our family vacation is always a bit of a marker to me of the end of summer. and now: school next week, and all of the special traditions of the autumn season to get excited about... i love that we share so many traditions marking the rhythms of the seasons together! xo
